3. Forwarding Search Queries to External Search APIs

We have no influence over how these providers process the search strings transmitted to them. Please inform yourself directly from the providers if you are interested.

The legal basis for forwarding your search query to these external APIs is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in being able to display the search results you have requested and thus ensure the core functionality of our website.

4. No Use of Cookies or Tracking Technologies

dlx-search.com does not set any proprietary cookies and does not use tracking technologies to analyze your usage behavior or create personal profiles.

5. Abuse Detection and Technical Logs

To protect against automated abuse, to enforce quota limits, and to ensure stable operation, anonymized log data (such as timestamps, search type, quota counters) is temporarily stored as a hash on our servers and regularly deleted.
This data cannot be directly attributed to individual users and serves exclusively for the operation and protection of the service.

6. Internal Analytics (DLx-Analytics)

For technical analysis and monitoring of the use of our search engine, we use our self-hosted analytics tool DLx-Analytics.com.
No personal data is processed or user profiles created in this process either. The analysis is carried out exclusively in anonymized form and serves to improve, stabilize, and secure our service.

7. Server Log Files

Our servers automatically collect information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits when you visit our website. This data may include:
